got that feeling

its good to be back blogging. organising a real affair took up alot of my time. i am *SO* proud to announce that we raised $14,000 for cancer council queensland - in our first year. i can't wait to see what happens next year, onwards and upwards!

so what's been happening?
for easter i spent four amazing days amongst wonderful friends - old and new, on an island not too far away from everyday life. we ate, we sang, we celebrated two birthdays, we played board games, we walked in the sand and swam in the ocean and we laughed and laughed... it was relaxing. the weather was 90% perfect. now after returning to 'real life' i kind of have the post holiday blues... but what do they say? better to have experienced something than to not.

savvy

this weekend is packed.

tonight i'm dining with two of my oldest friends from primary school. we're hitting west end for some greek. i'm hungry just thinking about it.

tomorrow i'm lunching and going to check out the matisse exhibition at GoMA. i can't wait.

sunday is beach day - topping up the tan. its predicted to be around 30 degrees. there is something about swimming in the ocean that erases all worries, instills calm and keeps me smiling.
you could say i am extremely excited about the new few days.

i think i've chosen the cookbook for challenge #4 in my 32 before 31 list. i just need browse the pages again before i commit... eek!
