Shouting Out Loud

Get excited! Australian born, London based designer Geoffrey J Finch brain child behind Antipodium is joining Sportsgirls Like campaign, bringing their new collection our way. Antipodium joins a talented list of innovative young designers who have successfully collaborated with Sportsgirls Like campaign including Kim Ellery, Romance was Born, 18th Amendment and Kate Hirst.

The 'Field Day' collection was inspired by the music festival which befalls the grounds near Antipodium's London HQ. It offers a fresh, young, effortless, chic and of course festival inspired approach to summer. With each item named after an East London location, we can strut our own little piece of London around the Australian countryside.

Launching with 'Buttons Up' at London Fashion Week in 2006, Antipodium saw fashionista Alexa Chung as the face of their SS2008 'Don't Mind if I Do' collection (gush).

Flawless prints paired with checks, stripes, flowy dresses, hot little shorts and 'it' colour of the moment - burgundy means Sportsgirls can flaunt this season's hot new look - clashing prints.

Add a pop of colour, and a bold heel for a hot date, or a pair of cute little crochet brogue's or fisherman sandals to bust a move at your favourite summer festival. Geoffrey has captured what Sportsgirls love best - simplicity.

Here is a sneak peek at six of the key 'Field Day' looks, which I have paired with accessories now in store:

inspiring words for the weekend

A fantastic friend of mine sent me this quote... (thank you, you know who you are xx)

"there comes a time in life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it.
you surround yourself with people who make you laugh.
forget the bad, and focus on the good.
love the people who treat you right, pray for the ones who don't.
life is too short to be anything but happy.
falling down is part of life, getting back up is living."

they all hate us

have a fantastic weekend xx
